The only charitable event in Romania celebrating the special relationship between fathers and daughters while providing children access to education through art concluded a successful second edition
The father-daughter relationship plays an important role in our children’s early education, but also while they grow up with all the challenges life throws their way as they become responsible members of society.
Proudly supported by Nordis, a real estate investment group with 12 years of experience, our event took place on Saturday, September 5th, 2020, at the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace (Artmark’s headquarters) in Bucharest.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the 153 individuals without whose generosity the event would not have been made possible. Now, we must focus on the real beneficiaries of our efforts with the hope that one or more of them will be inspired to become the next Teodor Aman or Pablo Picasso. Until then, we must continue to immerse our children into a life of purpose, leadership and philanthropic service, which is probably the greatest gift we can ever give them,” declared Mike Costache, co-founder of Daddy Daughter Charity Ball.
The funds raised at our event will benefit 500 children attending Art Safari Kids, an educational program that facilitates access to creative workshops and art exhibitions for children ages 3 to 12 from both private & public schools, kindergartens, orphanages and daycare centers. Art Safari Kids will take place at the 7th annual Art Safari exposition on September 11-20, 2020. The past six editions of Art Safari welcomed 163,000 participants and 10,500 children benefited from the art workshops.
“I am proud of the organizers who succeeded to pull off this event with a zero-based budget by asking everyone in their professional network to contribute any resources they can spare. Even though this edition had a capacity constraint, I was pleasantly surprised to see so many individuals who donate products, services and money to achieve our common goal,” declared Eliza Lesanu, Brand & CSR Director at Artmark and Art Safari.
The only charitable event in Romania celebrating the special relationship between fathers and daughters while providing children access to education through art, is now at its second edition.
After the success of last year’s inaugural event, Daddy Daughter Charity Ball is bringing together fathers and their daughters for a charitable cause. The second edition will take place on Saturday, September 5th, 2020, at the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace (Artmark’s headquarters) in Bucharest. The funds raised from the event will provide 500 children education trough art.

“At the inaugural edition last year, we enjoyed a beautiful day alongside our daughters. We left all worries aside, took a break from business meetings and other responsibilities and we dedicated half a day only to our daughters at a fairytale ball thrown just for them. Regardless of age, I believe it is imperative to offer our children a good example of how charitable funds are raised for the benefit of less fortunate children, helping them benefit from art and cultural education,” declared Mike Costache, co-founder of Daddy Daughter Charity Ball.

“Given the uncertain times we are now living through, the members of the Organizing Team decided to organize a zero-based budget event, meaning that we called upon our network and our own pockets to make sure that ALL money raised goes straight for the charitable cause and none to pay for the ball. Anyone interested to lend a hand may do so by making a direct donation of money, services or products,” added Mike Costache.
The organizers were mindful of the mothers as well and arranged for them to relax at a SPA in Bucharest, which became a partner of the event by donating part of their services.
Given the more relaxed Covid measures, starting with today, September 1st, the organizers made available the maximum allowed tickets (50) and the event sold out right away.
